Tottenham have joined the race to sign Jobe Bellingham from Sunderland this summer, according to a report.

The 18-year-old, brother of Real Madrid and England star Jude, has already been subject to interest from a number of Premier League and European sides ahead of the summer transfer window.

Joining Sunderland last summer for a fee believed to be in the region of £3million, the midfielder scored seven goals in 45 Championship games, also picking up an assist.

A regular for England’s U19 side, there are hopes he will somewhat follow in the footsteps of his brother, who won the Champions League on Saturday in his first season with Los Blancos.

According to The Guardian, Sunderland are keen to keep hold of him this summer, however, and will demand a fee of £20million if they are to part ways with the younger Bellingham sibling.

The report suggests that Crystal Palace and Brentford are among the other Premier League sides keen on securing Bellingham’s services this summer.

Like Jude, he made his way through the academy at Birmingham before breaking into the first team as a youngster and moving on.

It’s generally assumed that his ceiling is not as high as his older brother’s, but there are high hopes for his future at the top level.

Jobe, alongside his mother, Denise, and father, Mark, were both in attendance at Wembley on Saturday night to watch Jude lift his first Champions League title at the age of 20.
