5 favorites to win Copa America 2024

Mexico v United States: Final - Concacaf Nations League

Copa America 2024 is right around the corner and there will be several nations fancying their chances at winning the tournament this summer in the United States.

A few CONMEBOL members will be the outright favorites to win the competition with Lionel Messi and Vinicius Junior spearheading the attacks for their respective Argentina and Brazil. However, don’t brush off the 1930 World Cup winners as they look to gain a foothold in the South American game.

Of course, Federico Valverde, Luis Suarez and Darwin Nunez will all be the big names to watch but don’t be surprised to see Rodrigo Bentancur and Manuel Ugarte play big roles, too.

Vinicius Junior

With Neymar out of the picture, all eyes will be on Vinicius Junior as he aims to propel Brazil to their 10th Copa America title.

The Real Madrid figure will have help in the form of fellow club teammate Rodrygo and Barcelona forward Raphinha, but they aren’t the main favorite to take home Copa America.
