Kai Havertz grabbed a dramatic late winner for the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium although Manchester City’s result against West Ham means they miss out on the title regardless.
After an incredible record-breaking season from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side, they miss out on Premier League glory to a dominating Manchester City.
Despite knowing that their rivals stood little chance of losing at home to West Ham the Gunners still had a job to do against Everton.
But they got off to a nightmare start when an Idrissa Gueye freekick deflected in off of the head of Declan Rice.
But Takehiro Tomiyasu levelled the contest up immediately after, latching onto a Martin Odegaard cross.
After a second half of almost’s, the winner finally came in the 89th minute when Havertz found himself four yards out in front of an open goal.
