HARRISON, N.J. – New York Red Bulls II (4-2-3, 17 pts.) host FC Cincinnati 2 (5-3-1, 16 pts.) for their second matchup of the season on Sunday, May 19 at MSU Soccer Park. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. ET with coverage available on MLSNEXTPro.com


New York are coming off a 3-1 defeat to Orlando City B, which snapped a five-game road unbeaten streak to open up the season. NYRB II are still looking for their first home win of the season. They have posted a 3-0-0 career mark against FC Cincinnati 2.

FC Cincinnati 2 currently sit in fourth place of the Eastern Conference with 16 points and are coming off a 1-0 road win against Columbus Crew. They enter the match on four-match winning streak, which includes two road victories. They have outscored their opponents, 10-3, during their winning streak.

This will be the second time that the two clubs have met this season with NYRB II delivering F.C. Cincinnati’s only home loss this season. New York won the match, 3-2, on March 28, with two goals from Roald Mitchell. Both clubs rank in the top five in goals scored in the Eastern Conference with New York having 18 goals scored and FC Cincinnati scoring 16.

Midfielder Ibrahim Kasule scored his fourth goal of the season in New York’s last match and now has 20 career goals across all competitions for NYRB II, which ranks fourth place in franchise history. Kasule has converted all eight penalty kicks he has taken for the club. The Ugandan international has recorded three goal contributions in three career matches against FC Cincinnati 2.

Following Sunday’s match, New York will welcome Philadelphia Union II on Sunday, May 26 at MSU Soccer Park. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
