Atlético Ottawa is excited to announce a new addition to the ‘Powered By Program’ in Québec-based youth club FC des Vallées (FCV).

FC des Vallées was founded in 2018 and offers high-quality soccer programs to residents of the Gatineau region (Québec), open to all ages and skill sets. FCV was created following the amalgamation of two soccer clubs that operated in the same region who came together to create a new image.

With almost 100 coaches, assistants and volunteers, FCV supports over 550 members aged between 4 and 19 years old complimented by a volunteer-based administrative council. FCV was founded on the values of respect, team sport, development and community engagement.

“In an era of rapid soccer development in Québec, FC des Vallées recognizes the importance of creating links with qualified clubs, not only for the positive public-facing element to being associated with a professional organization, but more importantly for the development of players and coaches,” said Jacob Beaudry, President of FCV. “We believe that a partnership such as this will enable us to provide our members with valuable professional experience. Obviously, the Atlético Ottawa image is highly professional, and this partnership shows members our desire to grow.”

By joining the Powered By Clubs Program, FCV will gain access to Atlético Ottawa’s extensive network, providing additional resources and expertise to support its growth and development. This partnership will also create opportunities for players to showcase their abilities in front of professional coaches, potentially opening doors for higher levels of competition.

FCV and Atlético Ottawa have formally entered into a partnership as of 2024.

Beaudry added: “Our mission is to support players in their development while offering quality coaching and services that are affordable to members of our community. Fostering a love of soccer in our young people is what gives us the desire to take to the field.”

The Powered By Atlético Ottawa program, a collaboration between Atlético Ottawa, Atlético de Madrid, and the Canadian Premier League, currently supports multiple local soccer clubs across the region, including Ottawa South United, Ottawa City Soccer Club, Ottawa Gloucester Hornets, Gloucester Dragons, Russell Soccer Club, St. Anthony SC, Nepean Hotspurs Soccer Club, CS Aylmer, FC Petite Nation, Association de Soccer de Gatineau,…
