Aurelien Tchouameni won’t play again in La Liga this season and is instead aiming to be fit for the Champions League final against Dortmund in June. Los Blancos have a clean slate of injuries elsewhere in the squad but manager Carlo Ancelotti will keep the majority of his first-team stars out of the starting XI.

Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior and Antonio Rudiger are among those likely to be rested, with minutes instead handed to fringe players like Arda Guler, Joselu and Fran Garcia.

Brahim Diaz starred in the 4-0 win over Granada on Saturday and will get the chance to build on that performance here.

Real Madrid confirmed lineup vs Alaves (4-3-1-2): Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Nacho, Mendy; Camavinga, Kroos, Valverde; Bellingham; Vinicius, Rodrygo.

Alaves will be without Aleksandar Sedlar and Ruben Duarte on Tuesday night but are bolstered by the return of top scorer Samu Omorodion from a one-match suspension.

Andoni Gorosabel should also start at right-back having been an unused substitute for Friday’s 2-2 draw with Girona, where a 98th-minute equaliser from Jon Guridi nicked a point.

Alaves predicted lineup vs Real Madrid (4-3-3): Sivera; Gorosabel, Marin, Abqar, Lopez; Benavidez, Blanco, Guridi; Sola, Omorodion, Rioja.
