Crystal Palace decide Eberechi Eze price tag amid growing interest

According to Football Insider, Crsytal Palace have decided they will seek more than £70million in order to consider selling Eberechi Eze.

England international Eze has had another fantastic season at Selhurst Park, contributing directly to 14 goals in 30 games.

The 25-year-old has been in fine form for the Eagles along with Michael Olise.

Eze has scored nine goals and provided five assists in just 26 Premier League games.

As a result of his development, he has forced his way into the England setup.

Palace signed Eze to a new contract in November in response to the increased interest in his talents; his current terms are expected to last until the end of the 2026–2027 season.

The report states that the London club would be asking for more than £70million from interested clubs who are looking to sign Eze.

It should come as no surprise that the 25-year-old prefers to play at number 10, since that is where the most of his goals come from.

However, he can be deployed on either wing and he is comfortable in playing that role.

Eberechi Eze in action for Crystal Palace

The midfielder has been linked with both Manchester City and Tottenham, who are looking to sign an attacking midfielder this summer.

Man City have no shortage of attacking players in their squad, with Pep Guardiola being blessed with having players like Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden.

However, he still wants to sign a player like Eze who can provide creativity in the final third and someone who could be used in rotation.

Ange Postecoglou wants Crystal Palace midfielder

As for Tottenham, James Maddison hasn’t been the same player since his injury and he has struggled for form.

Signing someone like Eze would provide competition for Maddison and give manager Ange Postecoglou another option.

Eze is wanted by both clubs and they will have to battle it hard in the market to win the race for his signature.

The high asking price set by Palace has to be met in order for any possibility of a transfer.
