Pacific FC News Release

Langford, BC – Pacific FC celebrates Mother’s Day a day early at Starlight Stadium this weekend. The Tridents’ Saturday match against Forge FC of Hamilton will recognize Moms of the Match. These special moms are the winners of a Mother’s Day contest celebrating their exceptional mom prowess; they will sign a one-day contract with the club and serve as the player ambassadors when Pacific and Forge take the pitch for the 2 pm PT start.

Here’s everything you need to know about now about tomorrow’s match:

Four TOTW Stars: After last week’s win against York United, four players on Pacific FC earned a spot on the CPLs Team of the Week. Steffen Yeates and Aly Ndom received their first honours, while Reon Moore and Cédric Toussaint earned their second.

CPL Records: The Tridents have broken a CPL record for the most consecutive games without conceding a goal, holding opponents scoreless in four straight matches. Coaches, James Merriman and Armando Sá, have the Tridents playing their best defensively in the midst of a busy month.

Moms of the Match: Pacific FC has rallied some all-star moms for the Mother’s Day match today. The chosen moms will sign a special one-game contract, and join the players as they take the field before kickoff.
