Langley, BC – – Vancouver will play in their first match of the 2024 CPL season against Valour FC. Here is everything you need to know about the game, which kicks off at 4 p.m. PT in Langley, BC:

MATCH STORY: Vancouver FC head into their second season in the CPL after closing out their inaugural season winning their last four of six matches and spending the off-season restructuring the squad.

The signings included hometown players Ben Fisk, Grady McDonnell, Paris Gee, David Norman, Zach Verhoven, and Matteo Campagna who brought VFC’s tally to 13 B.C.-born boys on the roster for 2024. Vancouver also demonstrated their continued commitment to providing opportunities for young players with the additions of José Navarro, Elage Bah, and McDonnell, who became the youngest player in CPL history to sign a standard player contract.

Vancouver will be looking to start strong against Valour FC who finished three points behind VFC at the end of 2023. It is the battle of the VFC’s which continues today at Willoughby Park.
