Inter Miami CF (3W-2L-3D, 12 points) is set to carry on with MLS regular season action, with the team facing Sporting Kansas City (2W-1L-4D, 10 points) on the road for the first time in Club history on Saturday, April 13. Kick off at Arrowhead Stadium is set for 8:30 p.m. ET.

Inter Miami CF in 2024 MLS Regular Season Action
Inter Miami has recorded three wins, two losses and three draws for a total of 12 points and is tied for second in the Eastern Conference standings. The team will enter this weekend’s fixture as the team with most goals so far in 2024 with a total of 16. Attacker Luis Suárez leads the team in goals with five and is tied for the second most goals in the league, while midfielders Diego Gómez and Julian Gressel and attacker Lionel Messi lead the team in assists with four, and are tied for the third most assists in the league.
In its most recent regular season fixture, Inter Miami earned a point with a 2-2 draw at home against the Colorado Rapids on April 6. Captain Messi returned and scored the team’s first goal on the night, while Academy product and MLS SuperDraft pick Leo Afonso also scored to register his first goal for the Club’s First Team, in what was his first start for the team. Defenders Franco Negri and David Ruiz, meanwhile, registered their first assists of the season in the matchup as well, with Negri playing his first match for the team since an injury sidelined him in June 2023.

This weekend’s fixture will present the second meeting between both sides in Club history, with Inter Miami claiming a 3-2 win at home in the only previous matchup in September of last year.
