MORE BLUES THAN RHYTHM

Memphis 901 FC enter Saturday’s contest in 9th place, their first season in the USL Championship’s Western Conference, after last season’s conference realignment. They have struggled out of the gate, with their only win of the season coming against Las Vegas Lights FC on Matchday 1. Memphis signed the USL Championship’s active leading goal scorer, forward Neco Brett, this offseason. Memphis 901 FC’s most exciting and intriguing young prospect is forward Nighte Pickering. The 19-year-old forward from Birmingham, AL scored the match winner against Las Vegas and also leads the club in shots (5) and shots on target (2).
