SAN FRANCISCO, – Bay FC, the new women’s professional soccer franchise representing the Bay Area in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), today announced a multi-year partnership with Lyft, one of the largest transportation networks in North America, to provide seamless rideshare experiences for Bay FC fans, and additional fan and Bay FC player benefits. Lyft will be an Official Partner of the team.

The two organizations will partner to optimize a seamless rideshare experience for Bay Area soccer enthusiasts. Bay FC fans will now have a dedicated pick-up/drop-off location for Lyft customers before and after Bay FC home games at PayPal Park.

“Being able to provide our fans with a world class rideshare partner like Lyft continues to drive our mission of providing an unparalleled game day experience,” said Bay FC CEO Brady Stewart. “Lyft has led the way in servicing and providing reliable transportation for all members of our community and we want to thank them for their commitment to all of our fans attending Bay FC home games.”

As part of the agreement, Bay FC fans will also be able to enjoy exclusive promo codes and benefits in the coming months at home matches taking place at PayPal Park. Match attendees will also be able to take advantage of Lyft’s Women+ Connect program, which allows women and nonbinary customers to request a woman or nonbinary driver, should they choose – a program which Bay FC is proud to support.

“We are so excited to be partnering with the Bay Area’s new professional women’s soccer team, Bay FC, as their official rideshare partner,” said Lyft President Kristin Sverchek. “We can’t wait to help get fans out and root for their new home team. With both our in-demand Women+ Connect feature and our other partnerships throughout professional women’s sports, we are building on our continued empowerment of women.”

For every Bay FC home match, Bay FC and Lyft will work together to identify a Season Ticket Member of the Match. Beginning with the home opener on Saturday, March 30, a Season Ticket Member will be provided a complimentary Lyft Black ride to the match and upgraded to Field Club seats. An additional Lyft gift card will be provided to be used as they choose. Season Ticket Members will be chosen ahead of each home match.

The two organizations will also look to partner to provide rideshare credits to Bay FC players to encourage them to tour all nine counties…
