Fort Lauderdale United FC Announces Jerome Samuels as Sporting Director

Today, Fort Lauderdale United FC announced Jerome Samuels as their Sporting Director for the inaugural season of the USL Super League kicking off in August. Jerome will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the Sporting Department, including the development of the club’s philosophy and style of play. His duties will also include staff recruitment, player recruitment, and managing transfers.

Jerome has over 20 years of football experience, knowledge and contacts and holds several licenses, including a UEFA “A” License, USSF “A” License, and USSF Academy Director License. Prior to joining Fort Lauderdale United FC, he had a successful tenure as the Technical Director at Weston FC and prior to that he held roles at Tophat ECNL & DA and at Georgia Perimeter College as the Men’s Assistant Coach. Currently, Jerome serves as executive director of a successful elite girls club, Florida United.

Off the field, Jerome is a successful tech entrepreneur, having founded two companies in the travel and sports industries, SportsTravel HQ and Goal Reports.
