Huntsville, Ala. – Huntsville City Football Club will open its 2024 MLS NEXT Pro regular season on Saturday, March 16 when it takes on 2024 newcomer Chattanooga FC at 2 p.m. CT at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, Tenn. Fans can catch the action at the official watch party at Back Forty Beer Company (3254 Leeman Ferry Rd., Huntsville, AL 35801) and watch it on the MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV App.
This week’s fixture between Huntsville and Chattanooga means the first of three meetings this season which include games on April 20 and Aug. 10 at the Wick’s Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium. Despite both clubs participating in the inaugural Huntsville City FC Blastoff Battle Invitational in February, the sides did not meet in the tournament.
Huntsville City FC will be introducing its 2024 primary and secondary jerseys with a special launch event at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center at 6:30 p.m. CT on Thursday, March 14. Fans will be able to see the kits first on their favorite players, be able to purchase the kits, enjoy live entertainment from DJ Steve Metz, and have a drink from a cash bar.
