San Antonio FC Brings Back Cristian Parano for 2023 Season

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio FC has announced technical and support staff changes for the upcoming 2024 USL Championship season.

The technical staff is again led by Head Coach Alen Marcina, now in his fifth season at the helm. Dario Pot returns as a first-team assistant coach for his fourth season with the club. Juan Lamadrid, entering his ninth season with San Antonio, retains his duties as SAFC Pro Academy Director and Head of Goalkeeping for the first team.

Alongside new Sporting Director Marco Ferruzzi, SAFC front office staff changes include Preston Petri being promoted from Senior Manager of Soccer Operations to Assistant Sporting Director. Celina Leyva moves from Franchise Marketing Associate Manager to Associate Manager of Soccer Operations. Sean Arters rejoins the technical staff as High Performance Coach. Morgan Hobbs joined the front office in January as Associate Communications Manager.

More returning first-team staff from 2023 include Jesse Lowrance (Head Athletic Trainer), Rashad Moore (Equipment Manager) and Alex Saldana (Assistant Athletic Trainer). Additionally, Shane Watkins, Camilo Botero, Oscar Munoz and Tim Chestney return as SAFC Pro Academy Coaches.
