After a heartbreaking loss against Utica City FC last week, the 7-time champion Milwaukee Wave look to return to their winning ways as they face the St. Louis Ambush Sunday afternoon at The Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri.
“We know going in this is going to be a very tough game,” said Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. “St. Louis played us very well in Milwaukee and they’ve got some players that are game changers; we’re going to try to slow them down.”
This will be the 5th time the two teams meetwith Milwaukee dominating the season series 4-0.

The Wave are currently ranked 3rd in the MASL East Division with a record of 10-5-2, while the Ambush sit 6th in the MASL East with a record of 4-10-3.
“On our end we need to be organized defensively, make the most of our opportunities and play smart,” added Oliviero. “We just need to minimize our mistakes, not give away easy goals and communicate.”

The Wave will have one more road game Saturday, March 2 against the Baltimore Blast at 5:05pm CT before returning home to UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena Friday, March 8 at 6:35pm CT vs. Utica and Sunday, March 10 at 1:05pm CT vs. St. Louis.
