Hokies land 17 athletes on All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the All-Academic Team for women’s soccer on Thursday with 17 Virginia Tech student-athletes included in the honors.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. The student-athletes are required to have played in at least 50 percent of their team’s games in the 2023 season.

Allie George, Natalie Mitchell, Emma Pelkowski, Alia Skinner, Eden Skyers, and Averi Visage earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors in November. The CSC Academic All-District Women’s Soccer Team recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.50 GPA, and be a starter or key reserve player, athletically.

The women’s soccer team earned a combined 3.63 GPA in the Fall 2023 semester.
