December 22, 2023 – Canadian Premier League (CPL) – Forge FC News Release
Forge FC announced Friday a roster update following the conclusion of the 2023 Canadian Premier League season.
Fifteen players have guaranteed contracts for the 2024 season: Goalkeeper Triston Henry – defenders Manjrekar James, Garven Metusala, Malik Owolabi-Belewu, Dominic Samuel, and Kwasi Poku – midfielders Kyle Bekker, Alessandro Hojabrpour, Noah Jensen and Khadim Kane – and forwards Beni Badibanga, Tristan Borges, Terran Campbell, David Choinière and Jordan Hamilton. Forge FC’s two U-Sports Draft selections Mouhamed Ndiaye and Amadou Kone have been invited to participate in preseason camp with the opportunity to sign either a CPL-U Sports Developmental Contract.
Forge FC has club options on some remaining players from the 2023 roster and has until December 31, to trigger those options for 2024. The club is currently in several negotiations regarding both contract extensions and new additions with updates to follow accordingly.
