Greenville Triumph Soccer Club to Hold Community Tryouts

Triumph Adds Devin Boyce to 2023 Roster

(Greenville, SC) – The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club will hold community tryouts at the MESA Soccer Complex on January 19, 2024, for the first time since 2020.

Open tryouts will be held in two sessions on Friday, January 19 from 10 a.m. to 12:00 pm and from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Select players will be invited to a closed session on Sunday, January 21.


Players interested in participating must register by visiting www.greenvilletriumph.com/tryouts. There is one time registration fee of $135 that includes a Triumph shirt that will be given to players at the tryout. Registration is limited to the first 50 applicants.

The Greenville Triumph previously signed players both times the community tryouts were held in 2019 and 2020 to its regular season roster, including its first player to reach Major League Soccer, Sami Guediri.

The open tryouts are part of Triumph’s new head coach and technical director Rick Wright’s first steps to building his roster for the 2024 season. Wright joined the Club in 2019 to assist former head coach John Harkes with community tryouts and the Triumph’s inaugural season.

The Greenville Triumph kicks off its sixth season on March 9, 2024, at Furman University’s Paladin Stadium. To purchase tickets for the 2024 season, visit www.greenvilletriumph.com/tickets.
