GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida’s Megan Hinnenkamp (Kearney, Mo.) is a TopDrawerSoccer Freshman Best XI team selection, the outlet announced today.
She is the first Gator to appear on the list since Deanne Rose in 2017.
Hinnenkamp shared the SEC Freshman of the Year honor with Georgia’s Summer Denigan. She was the fifth Gator to earn the SEC Freshman of the Year honor and first since Rose in 2017. Hinnenkamp led the league’s freshmen with eight goals through regular-season play.
Hinnenkamp also earned All-SEC second team honors and a spot on the SEC All-Freshman team.
