Simi Awujo, Hannah Dickinson Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

LOS ANGELES – The College Sports Communicators released it list of Academic All-District honorees and USC women’s soccer standouts Simi Awujo and Hannah Dickinson garnered the distinction.
 
The 2023 Academic All-District® Teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Players are required to maintain at least a 3.50 GPA and have significant athletic and academic accomplishments to be considered for the award. All-District honorees now have the possibility to be selected for Academic All-America status, which will be announced on December 20.
 
Awujo, a business administration-cinematic arts major, had a stellar junior season in the midfield for USC, earning All-Pac-12 first team recognition. This is the second straight year she has been named to the CSC All-District Team and been on the all-conference first team.
 
Dickinson was USC’s starting keeper for most of the season, leading the Trojans to an 11-5-3 record and eight shutouts. She earns the honor as a business administration major, playing in her first season for USC after redshirting last year.
 
The Trojans made the postseason for the 10th year in a row this season, playing into the second round.
