CORVALLIS, Ore. – Three goals in a span of five minutes to close out the first half ends the final regular season match against Oregon State in a 2-2 draw on Thursday night at Paul Lorenz Field.
Washington concludes the season with 5-6-7 overall record and 2-4-4 in the final season competing in the Pac-12.
Oregon State got on the board 66 seconds into the match on a goal by Arnau Farnos.
Harrison Bertos drew a foul in the box for the Huskies for the PK opportunity in the 41st minute. Peter Kingston converted the penalty kick to level the match at one. The goal was Kingston’s second of the season and the second PK of his career.

The Huskies added a second on Joe Dale’s first career score from long range in the 43rd. Dale is the 10th Husky this season to record their first career goal. It was the second time this season UW scored multiple goals in the first half.

OSU responded with the equalizer seconds before half straight off a free kick. Washington out-shot Oregon State 11-7 in the first 45 minutes.
Washington continued the pressure in the second half, forcing seven shots but was unable to find the go-ahead goal for the two-all draw.
Sam Fowler recorded four saves on the night, including three in the second half.
