SAN FRANCISCO – For the second time this season, Washington’s Olivia Juarez has been named the Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week, announced Monday by the conference office.

Juarez was also named the Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week for Week 9, posting a career-high 12 saves to help the Huskies capture their first point against Stanford in 19 years.

The junior was instrumental in the Huskies 2-0 Boeing Apple Cup victory over Washington State on Friday, registering her third consecutive clean sheet. Juarez tallied six saves in the match, her fourth match with five-plus saves over the final six contests of the season.

The Portland native closed the campaign in exquisite form, allowing just three goals over the final six matches of the regular season.

In all, Juarez posted seven clean sheets in 2023, including four solo efforts. The junior shot stopper finished her first season as the Huskies’ No. 1 net minder with a 1.14 goals against average, registering a .753 save percentage.
