PITTSBURGH – Despite a late rally, the Pitt men’s soccer team (6-6-4, 2-3-2 ACC) fell on Wednesday night at Ambrose Urbanic Field in the First Round of the ACC Championship to No. 9 Louisville, 2-1, in double overtime.

• Cabral Carter came up with a big stop just two minutes in as a Louisville winger got in free and ripped a hard shot that Carter grabbed
• Pitt had a great chance in the 21^st minute as Guilherme Feitosa got free inside the box but his hard low shot was kicked away by the Louisville keeper to keep the game tied, 0-0
• The two teams exchanged chances late in the first half but neither broke through with the first goal as they entered the locker room knotted, 0-0
