Oregon travels to Corvallis to finish the 2023 season with the annual rivalry game against Oregon State (7 p.m., Pac-12 Network).

ON THE PITCH

• Over the last 20 years, the Oregon-OSU series is deadlocked at 8-8-5 (the teams played twice during the 2020 Covid season). The last two meetings both ended in a 2-2 draw. Alice Barbieri scored the game-tying goal for the Ducks in the 82nd minute of last year’s game.

• Oregon has played the second-most difficult schedule in the nation, trailing only Princeton, according to this week’s NCAA RPI report. Oregon played the 11th-toughest schedule in the nation in 2022.

Maddy Goldberg tied the school single-game record by making 15 saves Oct. 22 at No. 5 Stanford. She nearly doubled her previous career high of eight, set earlier this season at Missouri State. She is second in the Pac-12 with 84 saves.

• The Ducks are one of the youngest teams in the nation. Oregon’s 29-player roster features 15 freshmen (10 true freshman, 5 RS-freshmen), 9 sophomores, 4 juniors, no seniors and 1 fifth-year player.

• Among major conference schools, Oregon’s 15 freshmen trails only Pittsburgh for the most on its 2023 roster. The Panthers have 16 freshmen, one ahead of the Ducks. Among all conferences, Jacksonville has 21 freshmen while Hampton has 18.

• Oregon’s freshmen have accounted for 62.5 percent of the team’s shots (90-of-144) and have made nearly half of the team’s starts (91-of-198; 46.0 percent).

• The Ducks have started five or more freshmen 13 times this season with a high of seven Aug. 27 at Missouri State.

• Three of Oregon’s top four points leaders are freshmen. Ryann Reynolds leads the team with five points, followed by Kristen Conti (four) and Lauren Kenny (three).

• Duck freshmen have scored five goals and have registered six assists.

 • Three freshmen – Cameron Bourne, Kristen Conti and Mia McSweeney – have started all 18 games this season.

Alice Barbieri had the first two-assist game of her career Saturday against Washington State. She set up both of Oregon’s goals on corner kicks.

• Half of the Ducks’ starting back line from a year ago is now playing professionally in the NWSL. Croix Soto is playing with the Kansas City Current, while Chai Cortez is with the San Diego Wave.
