Gray Named Pac-12 Offensive Player Of The Week

Senior Forward Excelled In Final Two Matches At Edwards Stadium

BERKELEY – Senior forward Anysa Gray of the California women’s soccer team was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Gray enjoyed an incredible last week at Edwards Stadium, helping the Golden Bears to a pair of wins and an 11-1 goal differential. Her pair of goals and single assist gave her new season highs in both categories with three and two, respectively.

The East Palo Alto native helped Cal to an 8-1 win over Oregon by scoring the fifth goal of the match and assisting on the final score. In the team’s 3-0 senior day win over Oregon State, Gray punched in a first-half penalty kick.

This is the first weekly conference award for Gray.
