Britain celebrated the coronation of King Charles III this weekend, but May is the month when football always crowns its champions – leading to another exciting weekend of action.
Both Manchester City and Arsenal won tricky-looking matches, while Liverpool closed the gap on Champions League challengers Manchester United and Newcastle with another victory.
Elsewhere, Plymouth Argyle were crowned League One champions, Celtic retained the Scottish Premiership and Real Madrid beat Osasuna in the Copa del Rey final.
We’ve collected 13 moments that made us smile over this Coronation weekend.
