Orange County SC returns home to Championship Stadium on Saturday, May 6 for our first Fiesta de Fútbol celebration of the year against Southern California rival San Diego Loyal SC at 7:00 PM, presented by Taqueria Hoy. Come and experience the first event of our Drinks With Us tasting series featuring small batch mezcal and enjoy $1 chicken tacos from Taqueria Hoy all night long!


LOYAL TO SAN DIEGO, NOT SO GREAT OUTSIDE OF IT

San Diego Loyal SC currently sit in 3rd place in the Western Conference, off to a 4-2-2 start. The Loyal have returned several key starters from their 2022 season that saw them finish second in the Western Conference, and then crash out in the first round of the USL Championship Playoffs after a 3-0 upset to seventh seeded Oakland Roots. Just two of their 14 points this season have been earned on the road. Forward Ronaldo Damus will be receiving his 2021 USL Championship ring he won with OCSC upon his return to Championship Stadium.

A FRESH START

Orange County SC returns home to the Champ, following a disappointing 3-1 loss to New Mexico United at The Lab in Albuquerque, NM last Saturday. The Black and Orange will now be led by new boss Morten Karlsen. Prior to coming to Orange County in the off-season, Karlsen was a member of the technical team with his native Denmark’s national team at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Orange County currently sits in 11th place in the USL Championship Western Conference, but still has 26 matches to turn the tides and get something from the 2023 season.
