Tottenham threatened to combine both performances in a breathless seven-goal thriller against Liverpool on Sunday; suffering the first-half implosion they subjected their fans to at St James’ Park while also rallying valiantly, scoring three times to level the score in stoppage time while also robustly testing the structural integrity of Alisson’s goal frame.
Yet, Tottenham couldn’t hold on to the point Richarlison thought he had earned, with his compatriot Lucas Moura gifting Diogo Jota the chance to earn Liverpool a 4-3 win.
