Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing a ‘shock’ move for Chelsea centre-back Levi Colwill, who has impressed while on loan at Brighton this season.
The 20-year-old has been one of the breakout stars in the Premier League this season, even though he has only played 15 times for Brighton across all competitions.
Colwill is one of the highest-rated young players at Chelsea but it remains to be seen if he has a future at the club. Kalidou Koulibaly, Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile and Marc Cucurella have all been brought in for huge fees this season so they are well covered in defensive areas.

‘Mason Mount and Conor Gallagher are two of the most likely to move on – but Colwill will also have plenty of suitors should Chelsea decide to cash in.
‘The classy centre-back is being monitored by most of the Premier League, including Spurs.
‘But Chelsea reportedly have no intention to let the star go.’

The England international is expected to leave the Saints this summer as they are primed to be relegated down to the Championship.
Man Utd are also interested in Ward-Prowse and 90min reported earlier this week that he is valued at £50m.
Back to Football Insider, they state ‘Southampton have given Ward-Prowse the green light to move on from St Mary’s at the end of the season if they are relegated’.
The 28-year-old is under contract until 2026, so the Saints will be in a position to demand a sizable fee for the midfield even if they go down.
Given his Premier League and international experience…
