Erling Braut Haaland. Along with Napoli’s sensation Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Norwegian has been the best transfer of the season. Signed for only £51 million, Haaland has scored goals left, right and centre, helping Manchester City launch a trophy bid across various tournaments. And the striker smashed yet another record when he scored against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the quarter-final propelling his team to a 3-0 win.

This has been the story of the season, as Haaland has smashed several records. While several of them have come solely based on this season’s performances, others have come as a result of incredible scoring consistency over the years.

And with the season still far from over, the 22-year-old has time to go and break more records. So, what are the milestones that Haaland has achieved this season?

Erling Haaland Premier League goal-scoring record 

It is safe to say that while Haaland has been in brutal scoring form in various tournaments, it is the Premier League where he has regularly shown his best. The Norwegian is currently on 30 goals and, with nine games remaining, is primed to score the three goals that will take him past the 32-goal record set by Mohamed Salah in 2017-18.

And till now, Haaland has smashed the record for being the fastest player to score 10, 20 and 30 goals. He achieved the first record in his sixth game in a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa, where he got on the end of a Kevin de Bruyne cross to score the match’s opening goal.

Eight games later, Haaland would also become the fastest player to score 20 goals in the league when he scored a brace against Leeds United. However, despite these incredible records, Haaland did not rest on his laurels and smashed the record for becoming the fastest player to score 30 goals with another brace against Southampton.
