Ben Chilwell has reportedly agreed a new four-year deal to extend his stay at Chelsea

Chelsea ‘will reward Ben Chilwell with a new four-year deal’ as rival clubs including Manchester City circle for the England full-back this summer

  • Ben Chilwell has reportedly agreed to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge
  • The Chelsea full-back’s new deal will see him stay at the club until 2027
  • Chilwell has been hampered by injuries but has recently found his best form

Ben Chilwell is reportedly preparing to put pen-to-paper on a new four-year deal at Chelsea after a string of positive performances impressed the club’s chaotic hierarchy.

The left-back will soon enter the final two years of his current contract and Chelsea are apparently keen to try and tie him down to a longer deal to ward off interest.

Pep Guardiola and Manchester City have been long-term admirers of the attack-minded full-back and could attempt to lure Chilwell north if his future at Stamford Bridge was to remain in doubt.

But his future is expected to stay on-track in the capital at Chelsea as The Athletic report that Chilwell has agreed to extend his contract by two years and stay at the club until 2027.

His decision to commit his future to the turbulent Blues comes as a welcome boost to Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly who wants to stop his top talent from jumping ship.
