BOULDER — Colorado soccer landed its third Division I transfer for the 2023 season, adding midfielder Isabelle Eskay the team announced on Wednesday.

Eskay, a Damascus, Md., native, played the last four years at George Washington. The 5-6 midfielder started 38 matches and played in 57 total matches for the Colonials. Eskay started all 18 matches for GW in 2022, finishing second on the team with 1,346 minutes played.

Eskay totaled eight points in her four years in D.C., registering three goals and two assists. She had a career-high five points in her freshman season, posting two goals and an assist. Eskay registered career-highs in both shots (15) and shots on goal (10) in 2022.

Prior to George Washington, Eskay helped Urbana High School to a 3A State Championship and a trip to the 4A State Finals. She was a two-time captain and appeared on the High School All-American Game Watch List in her senior year. Eska was an All-Area honorable mention selection as a freshman and was All-Area First Team as a sophomore and junior. She also picked up Second Team All-State honors as a junior.

She played club soccer for FC Frederick and was a member of the 2017 and 2018 CCL United 2001 Gothia Cup Team. Eskay also was a part of the Maryland ODP team from 2012-2017.

Eskay comes from a soccer family. Her father, Bo, is the Executive Director at FC Frederick. She is the youngest of five children with all four of her siblings playing soccer in college. Her brother William is currently on the US Futsal National team and plays for St. Louis Ambush (MASL), while her brother Jackson played professionally for the Richmond Kickers (USL).

She is on track to graduate summa cum laude with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and a double minor in Electrical and Computer Engineering this spring.
