PISCATAWAY, N.J. –  Rutgers women’s soccer has announced its 2023 spring schedule. The Scarlet Knights will start the slate by hosting three home matches, two on campus and one at a Players Development Academy (PDA) site. RU will then wrap up the campaign with a road test.

The Scarlet Knights host Army on Sun., March 26 and Lehigh on Fri., March 31, both at 6:30 p.m. and both at Yurcak Field. RU then hosts Villanova at PDA South in Westampton, New Jersey on Sun., April 2 at 6 p.m. before wrapping up the spring with a short trip to Princeton on Fri., April 14 at 7 p.m.

Rutgers enters the spring following a 2022 season that started with historic momentum as the team began a campaign with three matches away from home and won them all for the first time in program history, leading to the team’s best start to a season at 9-0-0 and a program-record, 20-match regular season winning streak dating back to 2021. The program continued a longstanding tradition of NCAA Tournament soccer, making the national bracket for the 11th year in a row, 13th time in the last 15 years, and 17th time overall.

The Scarlet Knights return Third Team All-American Emily Mason, along with four All-Region picks in Mason, Riley Tiernan, Sara Brocious, and Sam Kroeger. RU also returns Allison Lowrey and  Emma Misal, Third Team All-Big Ten honorees from the fall. Overall, 10 out of the 11 consistent starters from 2022 return for head coach Mike O’Neill this fall.
