SAN DIEGO, Calif. – San Diego Wave FC today unveiled its newest home and away jerseys ahead of the club’s second season in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) that kicks off on March 25.

The new Nike home jersey is a navy kit that features subtle accents along the kit and shorts, as well as a unique jock tag. The jock tag features a sign that notes San Diego Wave FC, a nod to San Diego’s iconic signage located throughout the different neighborhoods of the city.

The Wave’s away kit is a clean white design that is highlighted by the jersey’s custom jock tag which was inspired by the Wave’s historic goal celebration. The celebration took place after the game-winning goal against Angel City FC at the club’s first-ever contest at Snapdragon Stadium in front of a record-breaking 32,000 fans.

The back of both the home and away jerseys incorporate an updated custom number template. The jersey numbers are crafted to mimic the Pacific Ocean’s waves. The numerals will be navy and teal for the white jerseys, while the navy jersey will be pink and white. The Wave’s full player roster is currently available to add-on the nameplate and number to jerseys now here.

The club’s official jersey partner, California-based Kaiser Permanente, will be proudly featured on the front of both jerseys for a second-consecutive year. The home jersey will don the Kaiser Permanente logo in white, while a navy version of the logo, which symbolizes unity and care, will be featured on the front of the away kit.

Kaiser Permanente will continue to serve as the Official Health Care Provider for Wave FC. As part of the partnership, Kaiser Permanente has chosen Dr. Brian Kurose as the team’s primary care sports medicine physician, along with Dr. Joan Hendricks and Dr. Joe Carney as the club’s orthopedic surgeons, to compliment the overall sports medicine team for the Wave. In addition, both Wave FC and Kaiser Permanente have built a relationship with a desire to strengthen the local community and will provide hospital visits, youth clinics and improving the well-being of San Diego neighborhoods through education, health equity and soccer.
