Chelsea‘s wonderkid Andrey Santos is set to return on loan to Brazilian side Vasco da Gama, after they were unable to get a work permit for him to play in England.

Santos though was denied a work permit, preventing him from playing for Graham Potter‘s side.

As a result, the 18-year-old is set to return on loan to Vasco, after they and Chelsea agreed terms on a loan move until the end of June.

The midfielder, who will likely represent Brazil at the Under-20 World Cup which starts in May, will return to Chelsea in July – with the hope that a work permit will then be granted.
