Eddie Howe does not appear to share the same qualms as Ten Hag when it comes to public celebrations. If they are victorious on Sunday, Newcastle will mark their first domestic trophy since the 1955 FA Cup with a parade through the city according to the Daily Mail.
However, the club have reportedly decided against hosting a bus tour if they lose Sunday’s showpiece. Newcastle’s last open-top bus parade honoured a defeat to Manchester United at Wembley in the 1999 FA Cup final. The Magpies celebrated reaching (and losing) the final of the same competition in 1998 and 1974.
