RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State women’s soccer team released its 2023 spring schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The Wolfpack is scheduled to play five matches, highlighted by three home matches at Dail Soccer Stadium against in-state opponents.
“We’re fortunate to have so many good opponents that are so close,” head coach Tim Santoro said. “Spring allows you to do things differently than in the fall, and I’m excited to see a bunch of players, new and old, train and play.
“And while your goal is to win all these games, the spring actually prepares the kids for summer training and not a fall season that’s over three months away when it ends.”
NC State will open its spring slate at Campbell on Sunday, Feb. 26. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. in Buies Creek, North Carolina.
The Pack will then host three straight home matches at Dail Soccer Stadium – East Carolina (Friday, March 3), UNCG (Sunday, April 2) and Duke (Friday, April 7). NC State concludes its spring schedule on Saturday, April 15, at WakeMed Soccer Park against High Point.
All three of NC State’s home spring matches at Dail Soccer Stadium are open to the public and free to attend.
NC State finished its 2022 season with a 7-7-6 overall record, making the NCAA Tournament for the sixth straight fall season. The Pack finished No. 36 in the final RPI and earned four results against team in the top 25 of the final RPI.
