Orlando Pride Announces 2023 Schedule, Presented by Orlando Health; Home Campaign to Begin on April 2

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Pride has revealed its 2023 schedule, presented by Orlando Health, for the upcoming National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season. The schedule includes both the side’s 22-game regular season slate, as well as the six games for the fourth edition of the UKG NWSL Challenge Cup. The complete schedule can be found here.

The Pride will begin their eighth NWSL campaign on the road, visiting Portland Thorns FC on Sunday, March 26, at Providence Park, marking just the second time in Club history the Pride will open away from home, the first also coming against Portland in the side’s inaugural season in 2016.

The following week will see the Pride return to the City Beautiful for its home opener, presented by Orlando Health, hosting Angel City FC at Exploria Stadium on Sunday, April 2, in a 5:30 p.m. ET kickoff. That match will kick off a three-game home stretch for the Pride, concluding on Wednesday, April 19 in the Club’s Challenge Cup opener against the North Carolina Courage.

Throughout the fourth edition of the Challenge Cup, the Pride will face off in a double round-robin format against the Courage, Washington Spirit, and NJ/NY Gotham FC, with this year’s edition of the competition taking place throughout the year as previously announced.

The reigning NWSL Champion Thorns will make their way to downtown Orlando on Sunday, June 11, while the side will close out its visits from the west coast with OL Reign coming to town on Friday, July 7 and the San Diego Wave visiting Exploria Stadium on Aug. 25.

Comprised of a balanced 22-game schedule, the 132-game regular season will be played over 22 weeks, with each team playing 28 matches between the regular season and the UKG NWSL Challenge Cup, totaling 14 games at home and 14 games on the road.
