NC Courage Announce 2023 Schedule

CARY, N.C. – The National Women’s Soccer League has announced the full schedule for the 2023 regular season and Challenge Cup. The North Carolina Courage will play a balanced 22-game regular season and six Challenge Cup matches. The campaign begins on Saturday, March 25, at WakeMed Soccer Park against the Kansas City Current.

New this season, the Challenge Cup will run concurrently with the NWSL regular season. See a full schedule footprint here. The balanced regular season will feature 22 matches, playing all 11 league opponents both at home and on the road. There will also be six Challenge Cup matches split evenly home and away, totaling 14 home dates and 14 road dates between March 25 and October 15, 2023.

The Courage open the season at home against reigning NWSL runner-up Kansas City at 2:00 p.m. ET. The matchup will also feature the return of Debinha, who signed with the Current as a free agent this off-season after seven seasons and 100 regular season games with the Courage.

The Challenge Cup is broken into a four-team pool with Courage joining NJ/NY Gotham FC, the Orlando Pride and Washington Spirit. The Courage will face these three opponents twice at home and twice away.

Wednesday, April 19, at Orlando Pride

Wednesday, May 3, vs. NJ/NY Gotham FC

Wednesday, June 14, at Washington Spirit

Saturday, July 22, vs. Washington Spirit

Saturday, July 29, vs. Orlando Pride

Saturday, August 5, at NJ/NY Gotham FC
