DURHAM – The ACC released the All-ACC Academic Team for women’s soccer Wednesday with a total of 16 Duke student-athletes receiving honors.
Earning accolades for the Blue Devils were Baleigh Bruster, Nicky Chico, Michelle Cooper, Delaney Graham, Maggie Graham, Katie Groff, Sophie Jones, Ruthie Jones, Devin Lynch, Olivia Migli, Elle Piper, Mackenzie Pluck, Kat Rader, Emily Royson, Jenna Royson and Grace Watkins.
Delaney Graham earned the honor for the fifth time, while both Sophie Jones and Pluck were named for a fourth time.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests.
Duke turned in a 15-5-3 record on the season and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
