Southampton have agreed a £12.3m fee with Racing Club for midfielder Carlos Alcaraz.
The 20-year-old will arrive for a medical on Tuesday after the clubs reached agreement on a deal including add-ons and a 15 per cent sell-on. They had an initial £8.8million bid rejected over the weekend.
The Argentine, who scored the winning goal of the 2022 Argentine Cup Final against Boca Juniors, will sign a contract until 2027.
