Wake Forest Men's Soccer Adds Pariss Mitchell To 2023 Recruiting Class

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Wake Forest men’s soccer has announced the addition of Pariss Mitchell to the program’s incoming 2023 recruiting class.

Mitchell spent time with Toronto FC during his youth development and most recently was with Vaughan SC – a program both current Demon Deacon Sidney Paris and alum Alistair Johnston competed for – during the 2022 season highlighted by a goal against Darby FC last July.

Mitchell is considered a top attacking talent from the Toronto area as he is the No. 1 rated player in the Boys 2023 rankings for First Touch Football Canada.

The Ontario, Canada, native is the seventh incoming freshman for the Deacs for the upcoming season, joining Liam O’Gara, Travis Smith, Jonah Mednard, Pranov DuBroff, Jeffrey White and Jose Perez.

This year’s recruiting class is once again nationally ranked by TopDrawerSoccer, as Wake Forest’s has had a top-25 class for the publication each of the last 11 seasons.

The staff is continuing to work hard to finalize this year’s class in the next few months.
