Newcastle United winger Miguel Almiron has been asked about Jack Grealish after the Manchester City and England star mocked him earlier this year.
Grealish cursed a stir back in May as he celebrated Man City winning yet another Premier League title.
This came as the Englishman likened Riyad Mahrez’s poor performance on the final day of the 2021/22 season to Almiron in a video that quickly went viral.
The Man City star has been made to look a bit silly by Almiron since then as the Newcastle United star has been in superb form this season.
Almiron has previously struggled in the Premier League but he has been one of the division’s standout players this term. He has scored eight goals in just 15 league games this campaign.
Newcastle striker Callum Wilson has claimed that Almiron has used Grealish’s comments as “motivation” this season.

“He’s at Manchester City for good reason. I just avoid making any comparisons. It’s about me focusing on what I do. It’s no big deal.”
Almiron wished Grealish the best last month and the City attacker subsequently admitted that he “regrets” his comments about the Newcastle man.
“When I said earlier that sometimes I do stupid stuff, that was one,” Grealish said. “I regret that.
“I swear, I’m actually buzzing the way he’s reacted. He said something about me in the interview the other day, he wished me the best.
“I thought ‘what a guy, man’ because if that was me and somebody had said that about me, I’d have probably been the other way and been like ‘f*** it’.”
Almiron has also responded to the more recent comments from Grealish in what was a “nice interview”.
“I saw the interview and heard that he spoke positively about me,” Almiron added.
“I’ve never had anything against Jack and have maintained all along that I think he’s a great player and a good guy.
“There’s never been any issue for me. It was a nice interview and the fact he spoke the way he did, that reinforces the type of person he is.”
When asked what he…
