2022 MASL College Draft Results

December 20, 2022 – Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) News Release

The Major Arena Soccer League conducted the first ever MASL College Draft today via Zoom. All fourteen teams participated in the draft’s three rounds. Forty–two players selected overall with the first two picks being territorial and the third round selection was at-large.


The results are as follows:

Round One

Harrisburg – Ryan Becher – UMBC, son of Bill Becher, former USL head coach

Tacoma – Chris Lozano – Pacific Lutheran University, 2021 NWC Offensive Player of the Year, 2021 First Team ALL-NWC

Empire – Jeronimo Valdepenna – Cal State University of San Bernardino

Utica – Colin Biros – Syracuse University, 2022 National Champion

Milwaukee – Carter Abbott – University of Wisconsin

St Louis – Iwan Webster – St. Louis University and Maryville University

Dallas – Judson Burns – Southern Methodist University

Baltimore – Ben Stitz – Penn University, son of former All Star player Barry Stitz
