Jaskaniec Garners United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American Status

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Outstanding on the field and in the classroom, Wisconsin women’s soccer senior Emma Jaskaniec was named a United Soccer Coaches First Team Scholar All-American, the organization announced Thursday.

To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must be a junior or above, have at least a 3.49 cumulative GPA, and be an elite player on the pitch.

Jaskaniec was recognized as the 27th All-American in program history earlier this month, and was one of 46 NCAA DI women’s soccer student-athletes to earn the honor.

The senior marketing major boasts a 3.65 cumulative GPA.

The local product of Menomonee Falls produced her best season as a Badgers, leading the team in points (24), goals (10) and tied for the lead in assists (4). Jaskaniec reeled off one of the most impressive scoring streaks in program history, finding the back of the net in eight straight games, and notched at least a point in 12 straight contests.

This year’s All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
