Boycotting the World Cup? What’s the best ‘other’ live football on TV you can watch every day?

Rangers v Hibernian among live football on TV

Some of you have made it clear that you will not be watching the World Cup. But if you still want to watch football on the tellybox or on your laptop, we have the best game (almost) every day of the tournament.

And actually some of these choices are better than Qatar v Ecuador…

Sunday November 20: Chelsea v Tottenham (WSL) – BBC One
Alex Scott introduces as the reigning women’s champions take on Spurs. You just have to make sure you switch over quick-sticks afterwards as coverage of evil Qatar v Ecuador comes straight afterwards.

Monday November 21: Mirandés v FC Cartagena (La Liga 2) – La Liga Sports TV
Mirandes are coached by Joseba Etxeberria. They are also sh*t but don’t let that put you off.

Tuesday November 22: N/A
Go for a walk.

Wednesday November 23: Chelsea v Real Madrid (Women’s Champions League) – DAZN
Caroline Weir comes back to England to try and do to Chelsea what she did to Manchester City in Champions League qualifying.

Thursday November 24: Barcelona v Bayern Munich (Women’s Champions League) – DAZN
Lionesses aplenty as Lucy Bronze and Keira Walsh take on Georgia Stanway. And a whole load of other brilliant women.

Friday November 25: Huesca v Sporting Gijon (La Liga 2) – La Liga Sports TV
Sporting Gijon are coached by Abelardo. They are also sh*t but don’t let that put you off.

Saturday November 26: Linfield v Crusaders (Northern Irish Premiership) – BBC iPlayer
Sky Sports not putting any EFL games up against Poland v Saudi Arabia is ludicrous; so you’ll have to wait and watch two greats of Northern Irish football. The former are managed by goal machine David Healy.

Sunday November 27: Burgos CF v Real Zaragoza (La Liga 2) – La Liga Sports TV
Burgos could get promoted to La Liga for the first time in their history this season. Hipster heaven.

Monday November 28: Ayr United v Pollok (Scottish FA Cup) – BBC iPlayer
The West of Scotland Football Leaguers will be hoping to pull off a shock. Enjoy.

Tuesday November 29: N/A
Go for a walk. What is with Tuesdays?

Wednesday November 30: Tenerife v Real Oviedo (La Liga 2) – La Liga Sports TV
Two lower mid-table teams in the second flight of Spanish football. What more do you want?

Thursday December 1: N/A
Leaking into Thursdays now. This won’t do.

Friday December 2: Glenavon v Larne (Northern Irish Premiership) – BBC iPlayer
A rare chance to see shock Northern Irish title contenders Larne. Better.

Saturday December 3: York City v Wrexham (National League) – BT…
