How it Happened
The Nittany Lions jumped out to an early lead, scoring two goals in the first 19 minutes, the Wildcats regrouped and rallied to pressure the Nittany Lions for the remainder of the game. Northwestern dominated the second half, outshooting PSU 12 to 2, including a 9-1 advantage in shots on goal in the final 45 minutes.
