9 MLS players called up

Gregg Berhalter has named his roster for the United States Men’s National Team’s upcoming training camp between October 25 and November 5.

The group features a collection of MLS players in strong contention for a place on the USMNT‘s World Cup roster who are no longer playing in league competition.

The players in contention for World Cup roster spots will train alongside the following U-20 talents:

Berhalter could add more senior MLS players to the roster as their domestic seasons reach a conclusion.

For a number of players, this will be their final chance to impress before Berhalter names his final roster for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The 26-player roster will be revealed at an event at Brooklyn Steel, New York, on Wednesday, November 9, less than two weeks before the Stars and Stripes begin their campaign against Wales on November 21.
