No. 18 USC Women's Soccer Returns Home to Face Washington, Washington State

LOS ANGELES – The No. 18 USC women’s soccer team heads into the home stretch of the regular season, hosting Washington on Thursday and Washington State on Sunday.

SERIES VS WASH – USC owns a 16-9-3 record against the Huskies. The teams played to a 2-2 draw in Seattle last season and USC picked up a 5-0 win the last time Washington was in Los Angeles (2020). The Trojans have won four of the last six in the series.
 
SERIES VS WSU – USC owns a 16-7-4 overall record against Washington State. The teams played to a scoreless draw in Pullman last year. Prior to that draw, USC had won seven in a row against the Cougars, including a 1-0 win in Los Angeles in 2020.
 
LAST WEEK – The Trojans played a pair of games on the road last week, picking up two draws against the mountain schools. USC opened the road trip with a scoreless draw at Utah and then played to a 1-1 draw at Colorado. Aaliyah Farmer scored the equalizing goal in the 75th minute.

IN THE RANKINGS – After starting the season at No. 15 in the rankings, the Trojans fell out following an opening-day loss at Purdue. USC jumped back into the rankings five weeks ago and have been as high as No. 8 in the coaches poll. The Trojans sit at No. 18 this week.
 
BALANCED ATTACK – USC has had eight different goal scorers so far this season, with six different players posting multiple goals through 12 games. 12 different USC players have recorded at least a point this season and 10 Trojans have posted at least one assist.
